1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NorthPledge (we, us, our) handles information when you visit northpledge.com and www.northpledge.com (the Website). NorthPledge is responsible for this information. Questions can be sent to umar@northpledge.com.

Information exchanged in client or creator business relationships (for example by email or under a signed agreement) is handled confidentially and in line with that agreement and applicable law.

2. Information we collect

The Website has no forms, accounts, newsletter signup, or checkout, so we do not ask you to provide your name, email address, payment details, or other personal information through it.

When you load a page, our hosting and font providers automatically receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page, and date and time. We also capture basic technical error information to keep the Website working.

If you email us, we receive your email address, name, and anything you choose to include in your message.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Deliver, maintain, and secure the Website and fix errors.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Reply to emails and manage business relationships.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share information only with:

  • Service providers that host and deliver the Website, including our hosting and content-delivery providers.
  • Google Fonts, which receives technical request data (such as IP address) when your browser loads the Website’s typeface.
  • Our email provider, for messages you send us.
  • Professional advisers, authorities, or others where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer.

6. How long we keep information

Technical logs are kept by our providers for limited periods according to their standard settings, generally no longer than needed for security and troubleshooting. Emails and business records are kept for as long as the relationship continues and afterwards for as long as reasonably needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, then deleted.

7. International transfers

We operate from the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses used by our providers.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict processing; to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising (which we do not do); and to appeal a decision about your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email umar@northpledge.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time required by applicable law. UK and EEA residents may also complain to their local data protection authority.

9. Children

The Website is intended for adults and businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

The Website is served over encrypted HTTPS, and we use reasonable measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Website where required. For any privacy question or request, email umar@northpledge.com.
